We are pleased to announce that MTYBA is once again hosting its annual three-round advocacy competition where MTYBA members will have the opportunity to demonstrate their submission advocacy skills through a variety of different advocacy exercises.

The first rounds will take place on 18 October 2023 & 20 October 2023 at 6 PM - 7:30 PM in the Advocacy Suites at the Ashley Buildings.

The top 8 contestants will then be invited to participate in the penultimate rounds on 17 November 2023 at 6 PM - 7:30 PM, again in the Advocacy Suites.

The final round will take place on 1 December 2023 in the Sherrard Room at 6 PM. Catering will be available in the final round and it will be an excellent opportunity for MTYBA members to meet senior members of the Bar.

Participants will have the opportunity to demonstrate their advocacy skills in a variety of different areas of law.

All MTYBA members are eligible for this competition.

The first round can accommodate up to 32 participants, so we encourage you to sign up as soon as possible, before spaces run out!
